As we wanted to create dramatic effect and due to the beat of our song "Down The Road" we come up with the idea of smashing the guitar at the peak of the song. After we decided to smash a guitar I then remember the that i have seen one on Jimi Hendrix concert on DVD of him lighting up his guitar with fire and then smashed his guitar. I then went on and did some research on this and found a video on youtube.
To make it more effective i then pitched the idea of smashing a guitar in slow-motion, which in my opinion is much cooler and interesting than just plain smashing.
